With approval and support of Urumqi Science & Technology Bureau, this project has been developed by the Enterprise Technology Center of XCCG in collaboration with China Merchants Chongqing Communications Technology Research & Design Institute Co., Ltd. It aims to carry out research on the evaluation and protection of highways vulnerable to unstable rocks and collapse, so as to evaluate the slope stability of sections vulnerable to these threats, and evaluate how to properly adjust the design of existing slopes, and thus to prevent damage due to massive collapse and rock instability due to highway excavation. This project is of great theoretical and practical significance for cost reduction, and improvements in construction safety and  ability of construction projects to be completed within deadlines, together with improvements in safety during the later stages of projects.
